Using a self-discovered and self-taught process, I manually and laboriously alter the colors of my photos in order to make the real world appear somewhat unreal...or "funked up" as I say.
I am someone who, for almost all of his life, wanted all sorts of guarantees. This created great personal strife because life never seemed to turn out how I thought it was supposed to turn out. Then a wonderful man and servant of God, Pastor F.E. Eberhart, reminded me that the only guarantees in life are: God loves me, God forgives me and God won't forsake me. Pastor Eberhart also helped me put in perspective that what gives my life meaning is being a child of God and my life's purpose is to use responsibly the talents God gave me.
"The real test of a photographer is not to photograph something beautiful, anyone can do that. The real test is to beautifully photograph something."
