Me and Music

'Transamerican Bullseye' by Jay CoffeltMusic energizes, relaxes, heals and inspires me. It influences me and, thus, my photography. And although I like a broad range of music, my favorite...the genre that appeals to me electronica (a.k.a. and including trance, dance, techno, rave, house, industrial, big beat, breakbeat, rocktronica and synth pop).

Music is always on in the background as I work in my studio. Sometimes it is even on in the background when I shoot. I remember when I stopped along a deserted highway in New Mexico in the middle of nowhere to take a photo of these massive utitlity poles carrying electricity. I could hear the haunting hum of the wires while Moby was playing from my car. That was the most incredible moment. My heart beats fast just thinking about it. So I thought it only fitting to have a little music on my web site. Here is just a sampling of music that funks me up.

"Never Come Back Down" by BT

"The Test" by The Chemical Brothers

"Born Too Slow" by The Crystal Method

"Born Slippy" by Underworld
