Using a self-discovered and self-taught process, I manually and laboriously alter the colors of my photos in order to make the real world appear somewhat unreal...or surreal...part reality and part fantasy...an alternate reality...or my reality...or, better yet, "funked up" as I say.

I am someone who, for almost all of his life, wanted all sorts of guarantees. This created great personal strife because life never seemed to turn out how I thought it was supposed to turn out. 

Then a wonderful man and servant of God, Pastor F.E. Eberhart, reminded me that the only guarantees in life are: God loves me, God forgives me and God won't forsake me. 

Pastor Eberhart also helped me put in perspective that what gives my life meaning is being a child of God and my life's purpose is to use responsibly the talents God gave me.
